Business Development Manager/Specification Manager – Japan

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market share in Japan, specifically targeting Corporate and Architectural segments. The ideal candidate will leverage their industry knowledge, network, and strategic mindset to establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, architects, and corporate clients.

Role Responsibilities:

  •  Market Analysis and Strategy:
    • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities and trends within the Corporate and Architectural sectors in Japan.
    • Develop and implement targeted business development strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, and corporate decision-makers.
    • Collaborate with key clients to understand their heating requirements and provide tailored solutions.
    • Ensure CRM compliance by accurately recording client interactions, transactions, and feedback.
  • Architectural Specification:
    • Work closely with architects and specifiers to ensure Bromic Heating products are specified in relevant projects.
    • Provide technical support and product information to assist in the specification process.
  • Sales Presentations and Proposals:
    • Deliver compelling sales presentations to architects and corporate clients, highlighting the unique features and benefits of Bromic Heating solutions.
    • Prepare and submit comprehensive proposals tailored to the specific needs of corporate and architectural projects.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    • Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
    • Provide feedback from the market to contribute to product development and marketing strategies.

Who we are looking for:

  • Seasoned Business Developer: Minimum 5 years’ proven success in business development, demonstrating excellence in new and existing channel management.
  • Hunter’s Mindset: Possesses a proactive “hunter’s” mindset, adept at identifying and pursuing new opportunities and challenges.
  • Strategic Planner: Strong planning skills coupled with excellent managerial and sales motivation abilities.

  • Goal-Driven Professional: Competitive and goal-driven with superior communication, customer service, and technical aptitude. Successful track record in “greenfield territories,” CRM usage, and meeting and exceeding sales targets.
