Making a Difference: Bromic Group Raises Over $30,000 for Childhood Brain Cancer Research

Each year, Bromic Group proudly partners with The Kids’ Cancer Project to help fund vital research that gives children with cancer the chance to grow up, dream big, and live full lives.

This September, our Australian team took on a new challenge — Run, Ride, Row for a Reason — an initiative designed to encourage physical activity, build community spirit, and raise funds for childhood brain cancer research.

To bring a bit of friendly competition to the month, Bromic split into three teams — the R-emarkable Matildas, the R-esilient Wallabies, and the R-oaring Boomers. Each group took on the challenge in their own way, choosing to run, ride, or row throughout September. It wasn’t about tracking distance or time — it was about participation, connection, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

While the RRR challenge was the main event, our team also got creative with a number of fundraising initiatives across the month, all designed to keep spirits high and donations flowing.

From washing 20 cars in just 90 minutes during our Charity Car Wash (we’re still not sure how clean they ended up!) to taking on a Push-Up Challenge that even saw our CEO Scott Smith and COO Peter Abraham join in — there was no shortage of energy or enthusiasm.

We also fired up the BBQ at our Sydney office for a lunchtime fundraiser, braved the chill for an Ice Bucket Challenge with our leadership team, and kept moving with regular onsite walks to support health, wellbeing, and awareness.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supply and manufacturing partners, the greater community, and the Bromic Australia team, we’re proud to share that we raised over $30,000 in support of Dr. Matt Dun’s groundbreaking research into childhood brain cancer.

We wrapped up the month with a special onsite event day to celebrate everyone’s efforts and reflect on what we achieved together. It was the perfect way to close out a month full of teamwork, laughter, and purpose.

Continuing Our Commitment

Supporting The Kids’ Cancer Project is more than an annual initiative for Bromic — it’s a core part of who we are. Each year, we come together as a team to back causes that matter, and to fund research that is changing the future for children and families impacted by cancer.

Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and supported our efforts. Together, we’ve made a real and lasting difference — and we look forward to continuing this important partnership for years to come.
