As building design continues to evolve, expectations around efficiency, flexibility and infrastructure planning are changing with it. Across the industry, consultants, engineers and developers are taking a closer look at how hot water systems are designed and whether traditional approaches still reflect the way buildings operate today.
It’s this thinking that is behind Fala, our new hot water brand officially introduced at ARBS 2026.
Built around demand-based hot water delivery, Fala has been developed to support a different approach to system design, helping projects deliver hot water closer to where it’s needed while reducing unnecessary energy use and infrastructure complexity.
Rethinking Water
For years, hot water systems have been designed around centralised storage and peak demand assumptions. These systems can create long pipe runs, recirculation losses and oversized infrastructure that continues consuming energy regardless of actual demand.
Fala takes a different approach.
Rather than storing and continuously circulating large volumes of heated water, Fala solutions are designed to heat water only when and where it is required. This approach allows for more flexibility when designing systems while helping reduce heat loss, water waste and unnecessary infrastructure.
Designed for Real Projects
The Fala range has been developed to support a variety of commercial and multi-residential applications, including both new builds and retrofit projects.
The launch range includes:
Across the range, the aim is straightforward – deliver hot water where it’s needed without overcomplicating system design.
Supporting Whole System Efficiency
Fala has been developed with consultants and specifiers in mind as the industry continues looking at ways to improve whole system efficiency. In some applications, generating hot water closer to the outlet can reduce long pipe runs, minimise thermal losses and help reclaim valuable plant space.
This approach also allows system sizing to better align with actual building demand rather than assuming constant peak usage across all outlets.
Fala is not intended to replace every traditional hot water setup. Instead, it gives consultants and project teams another option when designing systems around how a building actually uses hot water.
Launching at ARBS 2026
Fala was officially introduced at ARBS 2026 in Melbourne, one of Australia’s leading HVAC&R and building services trade exhibitions.
ARBS gave us the chance to introduce the brand to industry professionals while discussing the growing focus on efficiency, infrastructure optimisation and smarter water delivery systems.
A New Chapter for Bromic Group
With Fala, Bromic Group is expanding further into project-focused hot water solutions designed for modern commercial buildings.
The brand has been developed to support consultants, contractors, developers and facility managers looking for greater flexibility in how hot water systems are designed and delivered across a project.
As expectations around efficiency, usability and infrastructure continue to shift, Fala aims to help the industry rethink how hot water can be delivered in modern buildings.
