For another year, Bromic Group has come together to support The Kids’ Cancer Project — and in 2026, we took our fundraising to the Yellow Brick Road.
Our theme this year was “There’s No Place Like Hope”, inspired by the idea that every child facing cancer deserves the chance to find their way home to a healthy and happy future.
What started as a fundraising goal of $30,000 grew into three months of challenges, competition, creativity and plenty of team spirit — ultimately raising close to $44,000 for vital childhood cancer research.
This year, we split our Australian team into three groups: Team Scarecrow, Team Tin Man and Team Lion.
Each team set out on its own fundraising journey, with every dollar raised adding another brick to our Yellow Brick Road. The campaign gave everyone across Bromic the opportunity to get involved, whether through fundraising, taking part in challenges or simply getting behind their teammates.
And, as always, our team found plenty of creative ways to turn fundraising into something everyone could get involved in.
Across the campaign, we held a range of activities designed to keep the momentum going and, most importantly, raise as much as possible for The Kids’ Cancer Project.
From our International Buffet, which celebrated the many cultures represented across Bromic, to the Ice Bucket Challenge, our team was willing to take on just about anything for the cause.

Our Silent Auction also brought an incredible response, with more than $10,000 worth of prizes across 28 lots going up for grabs. From Bromic products and tool packs to family experiences, health and fitness vouchers and more, the auction gave our customers, partners and team another way to contribute.
Every activity added to the total and helped build the momentum towards our final event.

After months of fundraising, Friday 25 September was the day it all came together.
The final event was a chance to celebrate the incredible effort of our three teams, put the finishing touches on our Yellow Brick Road and, of course, see who would come out on top.
More importantly, it was an opportunity to bring everyone together and reflect on why we were doing it in the first place.
The day was filled with plenty of competition, laughter and team spirit — but behind all of it was a shared purpose: helping fund research that can change the future for children diagnosed with cancer.
When we launched this year’s campaign, our goal was $30,000.
By the end of the campaign, thanks to the generosity and commitment of our team, customers, partners and wider Bromic community, we had raised close to $44,000.
That result is something the entire Bromic team can be proud of.
It also adds to a much bigger story. Bromic has supported The Kids’ Cancer Project since 2018, with our fundraising efforts over the years helping contribute to vital childhood cancer research.

For us, this campaign was never just about reaching a fundraising target.
It was about coming together as a team, having some fun, challenging ourselves and using our collective efforts to support something that matters.
Childhood cancer affects thousands of Australian families, and research is critical to improving treatments and outcomes for children now and into the future.
We’re proud to continue our partnership with The Kids’ Cancer Project and grateful to everyone who donated, participated, donated prizes, took on a challenge, supported a team or helped make the campaign possible.
Thank you for helping us follow the Yellow Brick Road this year.
There really is no place like hope.
